Kyma is a partnership between a number of young academics and entrepreneurs seeking to develop technological solutions for the modern world. With a focus on high-tech troubleshooting and analysis, we're here to solve real-world technical problems.
Kyma comes from the Greek, meaning 'wave'. We chose this name to reflect our backgrounds from across different branches of applied optics and acoustics.

We're a team of career academics from the University of Cambridge and University of Nottingham. We have backgrounds primarily in optics, acoustics, nanomaterials and space engineering.
As a team, our main passion is in solving interesting problems. Due to our academic experience, we have a huge network of PhD researchers that we can call on to deliver outstanding results.
